About this community gathering template
Some gatherings exist simply so people feel less alone. This community gathering agenda moves gently from checking in, to sharing and listening, to a moment of gratitude. The discussion slide asks what each person is grateful for this week, turning the end of the session into a small gratitude circle.
An anonymous check-in asks how people are doing, with struggling and rather not say as honest options. A second poll asks what they’d like more of, such as time together or quiet reflection. A random pick chooses who shares a moment of gratitude. It suits faith groups, support group meetings, nonprofits and neighbourhood circles.
When to use it
- Weekly or monthly gatherings for a faith or community group
- Support groups where people may not share in front of others
- Online circles that want to feel close despite the distance
How to use it
- Use this template. All 10 slides land in your Slides, free. Edit the text on any slide, change any question, or add your own slides from a PDF.
- Run it. On a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call, people answer in the meeting chat. In a room, they scan a QR code and answer on their phones. No app for anyone.
- See the room. Results land live, only you see who’s gone quiet, and a summary is ready when it ends.
