Live polls people answer right in the meeting chat
Run live polls on Zoom, Google Meet or Teams that people answer by typing in the meeting chat. No link, no code. In a room, they vote by QR.
Claryoo runs live polls in Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams that people answer by typing in the meeting chat. Claryoo joins your call as a participant; you launch a poll, and people reply with a letter or the answer itself. No link, no code, no second screen. In a room, people vote on their phones by QR.
How it works
- Bring Claryoo into your call. Paste a Zoom, Meet or Teams link into your dashboard, add Claryoo from the Zoom app, or connect Google Calendar and pick the meetings it joins.
- Write your poll, or let Claryoo draft it. Describe your session and Claryoo drafts the polls and quizzes in order. Add slides from a PDF if you like, so polls sit between the right slides.
- Choose how it runs. One answer or several, a 30-second, 1-minute or 2-minute timer (or close it yourself), and whether the poll is anonymous.
- Launch it. Press Next in your run of show, or launch a poll on its own. Share your screen so everyone sees the question and the options.
- People answer in the chat. They type "B", "a, c" or the option itself. Claryoo reads each reply and counts it.
- Close it and talk about the results. You see them live as they arrive, and they're in your summary when the session ends.
What people in the session do
Online, they do what they already know: type in the meeting chat. There's nothing to open, install or sign up for, and it works the same on Zoom, Google Meet and Teams. Claryoo understands replies like "A", "a and c", "the second one" or the option's text, and only ever counts them toward the poll that's live.
On a single-choice poll, people can change their mind; their latest answer is the one that counts.
In a room, there's no call at all. People scan a QR code, or type a short code at claryoo.com/join, and tap their answer on their phone. When the poll closes, they see the results there too. More on that in in-person sessions.
Claryoo never speaks in your call. It posts one short hello in the chat when people arrive (on Pro you can turn that off), and that's it.
What you see as the host
- Votes as they come in, with how many of the room have answered.
- Who voted for what, unless you made the poll anonymous.
- A volunteer pick from the voters. After a poll, you can pick a volunteer from just the people who answered.
- The rest of the room, alongside. Who's with you and who's gone quiet, and questions from the chat and the conversation on one board.
When the session ends, your summary covers where the session landed, what was decided, who owes what, and every poll's results.
Want a right answer instead of an opinion? Use a quiz.
Good for
- Facilitators: a poll before the breakout, so the whole client team weighs in, not only the loudest three.
- Trainers: a quick confidence check after each module, answered without stopping the session.
- Nonprofits and community programs: member calls where quieter people can answer without unmuting.
- Speakers: an opening poll that gets a keynote or launch webinar talking back from the first minute.

FAQ
Do I need a paid Zoom plan or a certain Google Workspace edition?
No. Claryoo's polls run in the meeting chat, not through the platform's built-in polls, so they don't depend on your Zoom plan or Workspace edition.
Do participants need a link, a code or an app?
Not on a call. They answer by typing in the meeting chat. In a room, they scan a QR code and answer on a web page on their phone, with no app.
Can I run the same polls on Zoom, Meet and Teams?
Yes. Prepare them once in Claryoo and use them on any of the three.
Can people pick more than one option?
Yes. Set the poll to allow several answers, and people type them together, like "a, c".
