About this retrospective template
A retrospective is the team’s chance to look back and make the next stretch of work better. This retrospective template keeps it short and useful: how it went, what got in the way, and one thing to change. The discussion slide asks what one thing would have made the sprint easier.
The retro questions run as polls. An anonymous check asks whether the sprint felt great, fine or rough. Next, people pick what slowed them most, such as late requirements or waiting on reviews. Finally the team votes on what to try next sprint. It works for any sprint retrospective, and for project teams outside software too.
When to use it
- Closing a sprint or project phase and agreeing one improvement
- Running a retro where a few voices usually dominate
- Checking team mood honestly after a rough stretch of work
How to use it
- Use this template. All 10 slides land in your Slides, free. Edit the text on any slide, change any question, or add your own slides from a PDF.
- Run it. On a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call, people answer in the meeting chat. In a room, they scan a QR code and answer on their phones. No app for anyone.
- See the room. Results land live, only you see who’s gone quiet, and a summary is ready when it ends.
