Claryoo vs Wooclap

Wooclap is built for active learning with a join code. Claryoo runs polls in the meeting chat, reads the room, and writes up the outcome. Which fits you?

Wooclap and Claryoo both get people answering during a live session. Wooclap is an interactive presentation platform for active learning: you add questions to your session, and participants join with a code to answer. Claryoo is an AI co-host that joins your Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams call as a participant: people answer polls by typing in the meeting chat, you get a private read on the room, and a summary when it ends.

TL;DR

Wooclap is an interactive presentation platform used widely in education and in corporate training. More than 20 question types, a competition mode and an attendance sheet, with integrations for PowerPoint, Google Slides, Teams, Zoom and, on custom plans, learning management systems. Free plan; paid plans. See wooclap.com/en/pricing.

Claryoo runs polls, quizzes and volunteer picks that people answer in the meeting chat or on their phones in a room, puts every question from chat and voice on one board, shows you who's engaged and who's gone quiet, and hands you what was decided and who owes what when the session ends. Free plan with 2 hours a month; Starter $19, Pro $39. Start free, no card.

Pick Wooclap for university courses and structured learning programs where you need many question types, scores and rankings, attendance tracking and a link to your learning management system.

Pick Claryoo for workshops, trainings, member calls and keynotes, on a video call or in the room, where you want a read on who's gone quiet or lost, and the outcome written up for you.

What each tool does

Wooclap

A presentation and active learning tool. You build questions in Wooclap or inside your slides, and participants enter a code to join and answer. The range is wide: multiple choice, open questions, word clouds, matching, image-based questions and brainstorming. Competition mode adds scores and rankings, and AI can draft questions. On custom plans it syncs with your learning management system, which is why it's common in universities and academies.

Claryoo

Claryoo joins the call. Before the session, describe it and Claryoo drafts your polls and quizzes in order; add your slides from a PDF if you like. During the session, press Next and each poll launches in the meeting chat, where people answer by typing, with no code, app or second screen. Questions asked out loud or in chat land on one board, longest wait first. Privately, you see how many people are with you and who went quiet, with one nudge when something matters. When it ends, you get the decisions, the follow-ups you owe by name, and the poll and quiz results.

FAQ

Is Claryoo a Wooclap alternative? For workshops, trainings and member calls on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, yes: live polls and quizzes that people answer in the meeting chat, a private read on the room, and the outcome written up. In a room, people join by QR on their phones and you see which slide lost them. For university teaching tied to a learning management system, or when you need a wide range of question types, Wooclap is the better fit.

Do participants need a code or an app? No app. On a call, people answer by typing in the meeting chat. In a room, they scan a QR code and answer on their phones, with no app or sign-up.

Does Claryoo record the call? It doesn't record video. Claryoo transcribes the call live to read the room and build your summary, and call audio is deleted automatically after 7 days.

Can I run both on the same call? Yes. They don't conflict.
